After BREXIT, the UK Government passed new legislation, the Data Protection Act 2018, replacing over in the UK the European Unions GDPR law for UK data only.
European Court of Justice Ruling
The European Union had some concerns regarding this new act of legislation and referred the matter to the European Court of Justice.
The European Court of Justice has now ruled that the UK’s Data Protection Act 2018 is of an equal and equivalent standard to the EU’s GDPR legislation, and that data interchanges for tech companies like ourselves between the UK and EU would be allowed.

Update of Wording
We have updated our Data Protection Policy Statement to reflect this wording to encompass the dual legislation and additionally the agreement question and grant permission button in our software.
