We are proud to announce that we have a new email server called Ada, or rather Ada.MarkAndrewSmith.net to be precise.
Our plan was to have this in place by Easter, and we are a couple of weeks early.
We have already assigned a brand new client to the server as of this afternoon.
As Ada is actually a virtual machine, this is a stock photo.
Ada King
In an homage to the first ever programmer, Ada King, Countess Lovelace, (10th December 1815 – 27 November 1852), we have named our latest server after her. After all, we are a software house..!
Charles Babbage
One of our other servers, that provides mail services for our remote desktop facilities, is named Charles, or rather Charles.MarkAndrewSmith.net after the first hardware engineer Charles Babbage.
