Free Portable Appliance Testing
New in 2011, we will add free portable
appliance testing (also known as PAT testing) for computer equipment to
our service offering. To obtain our *FREE* PAT service you must be
on our monthly support plan for IT Support, (hosting customers not
included). We will test all computer equipment
and power leads free of charge as part of the above contract annually,
and provide you with a certificate to prove that your equipment was
tested. None computer related items will be charged at half price
so long as you have our support contract in place at the time of
testing. We will provide you within 28 days with a single
certificate of testing covering all your equipment tested at the time of
testing on the site tested. In testing your equipment, any
equipment found to be faulty and/or dangerous will be isolated for your
users safety. We will not at this point carry out a repair, it is
only a test. A repair/replacement will be quoted on separately.
We will remind you 11 months later that your computer equipment needs
re-testing to enable a plan of action to test all equipment in good

Any computer
equipment dropped into our offices/workshop that are within 1
month of needing portable appliance testing (or have expired)
will be tested free of charge before returning to the
client/user. Also, any computer equipment leaving our
workshops with a new power supply unit fitted will be tested
before dispatch. |
