'MyServer' Your Data Security

We pride ourselves on the fact that we can keep your data secure against:-

• Theft in transit (see secure VPN).

• Unique user signons and permissions.

• Hardware failure at our end.

• You mistakenly deleting a file.

We strongly recommend that you connect to us in a secure manner, and you can do this using a standard Windows VPN, so you do not need any special software loading to your computer.  Each user in a company, organisation or workgroup has a unique user sign on to our data centre with their own password.  This username and password should not be shared for security.

We have multiple discs in our servers and your data is spread over them so in case of a disc failing due to mechanical failure, we can switch to another.

We also keep a rolling backup of your data in case you delete a file.  We keep at least last nights and the night before.  Should you loose a file due to user error and you know it was in last nights backup, please email Support@MarkAndrewSmith.com and request the file to be restored.  We aim to restore a file as soon as possible.
