Data Transfers with MyServer

There are a number of ways that you can transfer data to us or from us.  They are as follows:-

• By mapping a drive letter over a secure and free VPN link for Windows 2000 or for Windows XP/Vista
• By FTPing files to/from us either over a secure and free VPN link
• By FTPing files to/from us without a VPN link (not recommended)
• By using the MyPartners EDI file transfer functions

Notes: 

• Not all routers support Microsoft's PPTP VPN technology because they either do not route the GRE protocol or allow Internet sharing of the GRE protocol.
• Some VPN functions of MyServer are not available to Microsoft Windows Vista Home edition users as Microsoft have deliberately cut down some network and security functionality of Vista in Home edition.  We recommend Vista users to use Business edition or above.
