Websites - Accessing your websites

There are two ways in which to access your website, our recommended way is by the use of a secure VPN link via MyServer. The alternative way is to access via good old but insecure FTP.

Connecting via VPN (recommended)
Once you have established your VPN connection you can connect to your website(s) by simply mapping a drive letter to \\10.0.1.201\websites , we usually set this up for you as your W: drive and under this drive you will see multiple folders. You should see folders representing your test. and www. websites along with any other websites you may have hosted with us and their test. and www. folders.

Connecting via insecure FTP (no longer recommended)
You can always connect to your web space by following the following unrecommended insecure link, (please replace your MyServer username with your own).
ftp://myserver.markandrewsmith.com/<MyServer-username>/MyWebsites/

Note: Any files you place within these folders are instantly available for all to see on the Internet. Do not place anything personal or confidential there.
