Websites

As part of MyServer, you can have a fully integrated and interactive website. Your website will be hosted in our Linux environment and may wish to use the following:-

PHP
Perl
CGI-BIN
MySQL Database

All of our clients can connect to their website using our secure VPN connectivity and so may wish to have their web space mapped as a drive letter. If you ask us to do this as part of your logon script to MyServer, then we usually map this as your W: drive. You may choose another drive letter if you wish.

For each domain hosted with us, we provide you with two websites, one for developing and testing separate and at no extra cost to your production (www.<your-domain) website. The addresses of these two sites are:-

test.<your-domain>
www.<your-domain>

We do this so that in the future, you may have maintenance performed on your website and testing in a separate area so not as to affect your current production website should there be any problems with links or layout etc.

You may also add additional domains and host multiple websites with us [not MyServer Lite], each may have test.<your-domain> and www.<your-domain>.
