Setting up a new contract with us for MyServer

This is simplicity in itself, but needs to be broken down to each area of our bundled service and is listed below in a "to do list".  We actually do all the work behind the scenes for you in setting all this up with minimal server setup fees, so when you actually read through this list, it is only a case of letting us know what you want, user names, data locations, access rights etc.

To Do List

  1. Determine if the multi user MyServer or the single user MyServer Lite is for you.
  2. Let us know your contact details:-
    • Company Name
    • Address (with postcode)
    • Telephone Number
    • Email Address
    • Contact name (person who is best to speak with)
  3. Who are your users:- [not MyServer Lite]
    • First name
    • Last Name
    • Email address
  4. Your data storage areas, what do you need:-
    • Which users need access to which files - setting permissions
    • Mapping of drive letters
    • Connecting to databases
  5. Have you a Domain name or need it pointing to our servers:-
    1. Register a new domain name
    2. Pointing the DNS to us so that your email is delivered here
    3. And uploading your website so that it is visible
  6. Installing the connection software for each user.
