Email - Groups  [not MyServer Lite]

Email groups are there to make life easier for you when contacting all of your users.  For example, say every Monday morning, you need to email last weeks sales performance figures to all of your 15 regional sales staff.  Well, you could:-
  • Remember everyone's email address
  • Setup an address book group entry on your computer
  • Go around everyone's computer replicating the address book group

And when you have a change over of staff, it all has to be modified again.  So the simple solution is to get your MyServer equipment to do the work for you.  The email group has an address and the members of the group need only to be defined once.  Once completed anyone can send emails to the group.  To set up or manage a group, please send us an email to Sales@MarkAndrewSmith.com we need to know:-

  1. The name of the email group, eg <group-name>@<your-domain>
  2. Mailbox members of the email group, eg MyServer usernames
  3. (Optional) Any external email address in which to forward copies, eg  martins_blackberry@orange.net
