Perl, PHP and other languages

We support Perl and PHP to access your MySQL database. We have both Apache modules loaded on our webservers for you. Other languages we will make available on our Apache servers for you upon request, but no additional help will be offered.

We will suggest methods to access our databases but we cannot sort out programming script errors for you for free. We find many of our clients choose Perl over PHP for its text processing capabilities and we find this speeds up database web development and so strongly recommend applications are written in Perl. Using the web MyServer user, an example of connecting to our databases in Perl is:-

$db2 = Mysql->connect($host, $database, $user, $password)
