Connecting to 'MyServer' or 'MyPartners' via a secure VPN link  (Page 1 2 3)

These instructions are three pages long and quite easy to follow for the non technically minded, however novices may wish to print off all three pages.  Please ensure you complete each step exactly as detailed.  If you have a problem, delete the entry within your Network connections and simply start again.

If you are using Windows logon permissions, please ensure you are logged on as a user with local Administrator rights before continuing. 

From the control panel, choose Network and Dial-Up Connections, then either Make a new connection or Add a new Connection (depending on version of Windows).  At the following screen choose Next.



Then choose Connect to a private network through the Internet as follows and click Next.



Then assuming you are on broadband and you don't need to dial a connection, select Do not dial the initial connection and choose next.



Then enter the IP address of the MyServer service we have provided you with and click next.



Then choose For all users on your computer and click next.



Then choose a name for this connection.  We suggest calling it 'MyServer' so that all users know what it is and perhaps if you want to add a shortcut to your desktop tick the tick box next clicking Finish.
