At Mark Andrew Smith Limited, not only can we provide you your local PC Support services and online hosting services, we can also provide you with your Internet link giving you a one stop shop for all your IT and data needs.

We can provide Business broadband Internet services for:-

  • Low cost ADSL both managed and unmanaged
  • Mid range SDSL services
  • Routers and wireless devices

We are also a responsible ISP in that we are unlike most other ISP's in that we do not over estimate the line speed.  We tell it like it is.  On an upto 8Mbps ADSL line, this is the expected speed you will receive.  For example:-

Distance from Exchange Realistic Speed
1 mile 6.5 Mbps
1 to 3 miles 4.0 Mbps
3 to 5 miles 2.5 Mbps
5 miles plus 1.1 Mbps

Even though up to 24Mbps is available on some exchanges, if you cannot get very close to 8Mbps we very much doubt you will get above 8Mbps if you sign up to a 24Mbps circuit.  Be aware of the marketing men, talk to technical people like us and we tell it like it is to support your Business so that you make the right decision.
